How the Bonus Calculator Works

The calculator multiplies the wagering requirement by the bonus amount to get total wagering needed. Then it applies the game's RTP to estimate how much of that wagering the house keeps. If the bonus amount exceeds the expected loss, you have positive EV. If the expected loss exceeds the bonus, the casino is charging you more in edge than they're giving you in bonus.

Slot contribution matters because some bonuses count slot wagers at 100% but table games at 10-20%. If you play a game with lower contribution, you need to wager more total to clear the requirement — which means more expected loss.

Bust risk estimates the probability of losing your entire bankroll before clearing the wagering requirement. Higher wagering relative to your bankroll means higher bust risk, especially on high-volatility slots where long dry spells can drain your balance before you finish.

Test any bonus offer before you deposit. Try different RTP values — the difference between playing a 96.5% slot and a 94% slot dramatically changes the EV calculation.
